Battery dies in riding lawnmower?

This is a Dixon zero turn mower with an Intek 14.5 hp engine. The battery is one month old. I have to charge it up to around 12.4 volts with a charger before starting the mower. It starts up fine. After running it for 30 minutes or so, I turn it off. The battery doesn't have enough juice to turn the engine over, it just clicks. I have to put it back on the charger in order to start it again. It holds a charge when the mower is not being operated. I disconnected the battery cables and checked for continuity. The resistance between the 2 leads was infinite. What is something else I should investigate?

check your solenoid, or your positive battery cable at the solenoid.

Check the output to the battery when running to see if it really is charging.
